    How the planner works

Every structure, unit and clan skill is read from the demo build's own modifier data, the same data that writes the in-game tooltips. Bonuses that target adjacent structures, structures with a tag, specific terrain, empty tiles or the whole settlement are applied exactly; a structure's bonuses reach the units it deploys. Multipliers count matching structures around the structure that owns the bonus (clan skills count around each target, as in the game).

The board is the real 46-tile map from the game files, and the "Load a developer board" menu opens the 14 settlements the developers built for the tutorial opponents (Liv, Brand and Egil at increasing strength).

Not simulated: bonuses that grow each round or after battles, timed combat triggers (for example Gjallarhorn's Haste pulse or Mjölnir's bolts), fate cards and god blessings, and shop or reroll discounts. They are listed under the board when your layout includes them. All tiles count as colonized.
